November 17 General Meeting

Guest speaker, Dr. Schumaker, a UT Tyler faculty member and avid researcher, will be joining us to present his research into predicting the outcome of NFL games by analyzing data gathered from Twitter.

Fall Election Kickoff Meeting

Join us for our kickoff meeting for Fall 2016 at 12:30pm, Tuesday, September 6 in RBN 3047!

At this meeting, we will be electing officers for the Fall and Spring semesters. Candidates will be asked to give a brief speech about why they want to become officers.

The positions open are:

  • Chair
  • Vice Chair
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

We also welcome students who are interested in joining ACM and getting involved. Even if you don’t want to run for an officer position this year, there are many ways you can contribute!

One Way Out Event

Join us for an immersive puzzle experience in the One Way Out – Escape the Attic scenario on April 16 at 6:00pm. ACM members, UT Tyler students, and faculty are welcome to aid in our escape. RSVP by emailing to reserve your spot in the event, as there is a limited availability for remaining attendees. The ticket price is $10 per person.
